 Who and What are We?
Hillside
Gardens & Nursery is a little piece of paradise in the middle of the
city. Flowing over 4 acres, the beautifully and creatively landscaped
gardens provide inspiration and education. Hillside Gardens is a
full-service nursery and botanical garden all in one. Display beds
showcase color and size groupings, bloom times, and combination
plantings, yard art and design ideas.
Beautiful,
scenic sites are available for weddings or other gatherings for
intimate groups or large parties of up to 250. We have five sites
with lovely views and comfortable surroundings, a pond side location,
a fountain site, a spot overlooking the city and mountains, a
gazebo, and a wooded area. We can help you choose the one that
is perfect for your special occasion.
The
Nursery:
 Hillside Gardens & Nursery is a full-service, professional garden
center. Our knowledgeable staff is here to assist you with your
unique landscaping challenges. We offer all types of plant materials
from architectural conifers and ornamental trees to flowering
shrubs, elegant perennials, colorful annuals, aromatic herbs and
tasty vegetables. All are healthy and lush and guaranteed to grow
in our climate. We do not try to sell you things that will not
grow in Colorado. Many of the plants that we offer are growing
in our extensive display beds and gardens so that you can see
how they mature.
Because
of Colorado Springs' unique and unpredictable weather and micro-climates,
a variety of native and xeric plants are available for a more
natural and water-saving landscape. We can help you choose the
right plants for each area of your yard.
